The story
EIEIO is a small winery with a big personality. Owner and winemaker Jay McDonald’s winery is located just west of Carlton. The appointment-only tastings can run from one up to three hours so please plan accordingly. Tastings start at the top of the hill with a seated tasting for up to six people. Each participant will have six wines in six separate glasses so that you can compare the wines against each other wine. Additionally, there is enough food that most call it “lunch” or “early dinner” depending upon what time of the day the tasting falls. Once finished, guests walk down the hill, through the trails to the winery and continue with barrel tasting if you are interested in purchasing futures.

Seated Tasting & Winery Tour
An intimate, appointment-only tasting for up to six people starting at the top of the hill. Includes six wines served in separate glasses for side-by-side comparison, paired with enough food to be considered lunch or early dinner. Guests then walk through the trails down to the winery for optional barrel tasting.
