The story

Founded in 1974 by the Campbell family, Elk Cove is one of Oregon’s oldest and most respected wineries. The first vineyard planted in what is now the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, Elk Cove is named for the elk herd that roams the nearby Coast Range Mountains. Winemaker/Owner Adam Campbell is a 5th generation Oregon farmer and 2nd generation winemaker with a focus on hand-crafted, estate grown wines from cool-climate varietals. Elk Cove now farms nearly 400 acres of vineyards on six hillside sites in the Northern Willamette Valley and remains proudly family-owned and run.
